Below is a draft of our shared organizational values, meant to provide a value-based description of our commitments and our orientation to the work we do.

At our center, we are a collective that organizes for autonomy. We embrace diasporic land-based practices while also making space for remote/digital work and remaining connected to each other through our roots.
Our roots represent that at our foundation, we are politically-centered (decolonial, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, feminist, queer & trans affirming, accessible) and community-centered (relationality, shared leadership, collaboration).
Our flowers include:
Integrity
Accessibility
Creativity
Our trees are:
Reciprocity: we value humility and generosity in establishing equitable working relations, and we are grateful for the knowledges people gift and share with us. We value thoughtfulness in distinguishing between cultural exchange and cultural appropriation.
Community Joy: we make intentional space for celebration as a way of community-building, showing appreciation, carrying forward traditions, creating new pathways, and rejuvenating ourselves.
Across our time and space, we aim to be multi-generational by honoring both our ancestors and future generations, and by working across the generations of today. We aim to be sustainable by being cognizant of the lands on which we live, protecting and utilizing resources, and building good relations.
